Nike Dunk

Born from a series of mash-ups, hacks and tight deadlines, the Nike Dunk landed on college basketball courts during the '85–'86 season. While the original College Colors designs helped you stay true to your school, the Dunk didn't prove to be popular. But it was this humble sneaker's lack of popularity—and flat, grippy soles—that helped it jump the rails to captivate skateboarders. Decades later, this everyday favorite continues to be snatched up in countless colorways, proving its influence is undeniable.

  • I do not recommend the dark pony colorway

    Lucase44494e5807c47a8ac3906574289d961 - Nov 06, 2025

The brown dark pony colorway has an ugly football lace design under where the laces should be. Yet to rate performance but nobodies tryna rock a football on their feet and the brown is a bit too reddish. Nowhere does it say that this colorway is meant to look like a football. It would be much nicer without the football lace and with a less red tinted brown. Overall the shoe fit and comfortability is alright and I like how they included multiple cool lace colors. However, the dark pony design is ugly and resembles a football which is misleading since all of the pictures do not show the ugly football lace design and I did see a review that says these shoes are terrible for skating. Unless you have an obsession with American football this colorway is awful option. 4/10 I will be returning.

  • Terrible for skating

Terrible. Hole in toe that I can put my finger through after one (1) hour of skating. Terrible quality.
