The Nike Pegasus Trail 4 GORE-TEX is your running companion for those days when the weather turns. Its waterproof GORE-TEX layer helps keep your feet dry, and less rubber in the outsole creates a smooth transition from road to trail without breaking stride. This special design is part of our ongoing #IYKYK series. It traverses the Pyrenees mountains via the GR 11, using the coastal lighthouses as your guide from the Mediterranean Sea to the Cantabrian Sea.

  • Do not recommend

Do not recommend at all. First, they aren’t waterproof but I didn’t make a big deal out of it. However, I then went backpacking for three weeks with only these shoes and the sole came loose. The shoes were only six months old and hardly worn. Customer service wanted me to return them for a refund, which meant that I had to take these shoes with me back home while I evidently immediately had to buy new shoes for my safety. Every backpacker knows that making place for an extra pair of shoes is not possible. Customer service follows a script and keeps repeating that I should return the shoes without listening to the situation. Hence, low quality shoes and even worse customer service.

  • Wanted to like them …

These worked great for the first week or two that I had them. My dog and I are always around water on our walks, and odds are my feet end up getting wet. Once I got these, I was able to walk right into puddles without issues. All of a sudden they stopped being waterproof somehow. I walk through wet grass and my feet are soaked. I have no clue what happened, but they only held up for about a month.

  • Comfortable and waterproof!

I bought a pair a couple of years ago for hiking in the Pacific Northwest. They are so comfortable and have kept my feet dry in the damp forests of Washington State. I started to wear them golfing and they have worked out so well I just purchased another pair for that purpose only.
