Nike Pegasus Plus 2

The Pegasus Plus 2 is my favorite edition of the Pegasus. I've been using it as both a casual shoe and everyday daily trainer. It was comfortable enough to get me through my 15 hour days and was nice as a trainer for both regular runs and the occasional faster pace. The mix of the ZoomX foam and air pod in the forefoot make it a responsive and lively ride for both types of runs. It offer just the right amount of cushioning too - providing enough support for long days and longer runs.

I really love these shoes! First off, the fit is great. As soon as I put them on, I could feel a nice spring in my step, but not so much that it felt weird or unnatural. They have just the right amount of cushion while still feeling sturdy and supportive during my runs. I’m a pretty plain person when it comes to shoes, so I really appreciate that these aren’t super flashy but still look nice. The quality is great, and they feel really well-made and durable. I haven’t had them for very long yet, but I honestly feel like they’re going to hold up really well. As far as sizing goes, I feel like they’re true to size. There’s plenty of room in the toe box, so my toes don’t feel cramped or squished together at all. That’s a big thing for me, especially when I’m running. Something else I really appreciate is how thin the tongue of the shoe is. I’ve had issues with other shoes rubbing and irritating the spot where my foot bends at the front of my ankle when I run, but I haven’t had that issue with these. The tongue doesn’t feel bulky or rub against that area, which makes a big difference for me. Another thing that caught my attention is the laces. They have a little texture to them, which seems to help keep them tied during my runs. I don’t have to keep stopping to retie them, and that’s definitely a plus! Overall, I’m really happy with these shoes. They have everything I look for. I have no complaints so far, and I’ll definitely be buying another pair once I’ve put enough miles on these and it’s time for a new set. I’m really glad I gave these a try!

Overall, this is a great shoe for sports and activities, but I would avoid for casual wear. I loved the bouncy feel while running, which made me feel lighter on my feet and made my runs more enjoyable. However, I did find them a little wobbly when using them as an everyday walking shoe. It’s a small feature, but I really like the design of the shoe’s tongue. It’s made from a soft foam material that feels really comfortable on the top of my foot. Unfortunately the main material feels a little cheap compared to what I expected, but I assume it’s a thinner / more breathable material to keep them lightweight.
