How This Was Made

  • The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.

    I've tried other styles of this particular cap and just did not look good on my big head, this one, however, is perfect in every way! Although the materials are mainly polyester, they advertised that this product is made with at least 50% recycled polyester fibers which is a step in the right direction to sustainability and somewhat less toxic to the human body. Also, love the addition of the elastic drawcord.
