My Dad tire patch my Chuck Taylor's in the early 80s. With the bicycle patches so my socks wouldn't trail behind me bc that is how hard I was on them, So Now I find myself in the same situation with my now 13 yo Daughter! 😆 Mother of my daughter bought a pair of All-Stars at the mall they were so very narrow an no store sold All-Star's none that i could find in my area, Thank You Converse for making a Wide Shoe!! My not so little one has Flintstone Feet So took the one's back to the mall and purchased Website Wides for her She is so Happy with them an wears them comfortably along with her Lil' Clique of girlfriends . As a Girl Dad this makes me very happy as well. Gonna pick up some winter boots for her i hear they are tru to size. Love the selection it has definitely changed in the last 45 years! 😊
