Behind the Design
When Book needs to escape the desert heat he heads to Flagstaff, where he can walk the mountain paths worry-free. The forest green speaks to the fresh pines that frequent the woodland oasis. The snow-topped tongue comes complete with a Humphrey's Peak woven label, which pays homage to the highest point in Flagstaff.
Book Smooth
The outside is pure Book, with a workwear-inspired upper that adds durability, while hits of genuine leather provide reinforcement and a familiar, plush, broken-in feel out of the box.
Stop and Go
A top-loaded Air Zoom unit in the heel provides a measure of responsive speed when taking off in the open floor and coming to sudden halts, like a two-footed Book jump stop and pump fake around the rim.
Plant and Pivot
A tough plastic plate at the midfoot helps keep your foot stable when making sudden movements, like sharp plants, Book-like pivots and jabs in the post and opportunistic cuts.

Great tribute to the AM 95 Neons

This is my 9th pair of Books and one of my favorites. They took the quality up a notch on these with the suede being buttery smooth. The cloth that surrounds the swoosh is a unique texture that adds a new element. The neon translucent soles are a nice touch. This is a great tribute to the AM 95 Neons.
