Good lifestyle shoe, do go up a half size.

When I first pulled these out of the box they looked pretty bulky especially from the side, so I was surprised when I put them on how slimming they actually look from the top. The lines ringing the top of the show give a really narrow look from above which was nice. I get the chunky look without making my feet look huge. It feels like a sturdy shoe and wears like one as well. It's a bit stiffer than I would normally like. I like a bit more give in the sole and the insert. They did break in a bit as I wore them more thankfully. Even with being a sturdy feeling shoe, they weren't heavy. They felt light on my feet. As I walked in them, I did notice there isn't a ton of arch support, so I did feel my foot rolling inward a bit, not ideal. I'm typically a size 8, and that's the size I got. My toes are up to the front of the toe box and I need to wear really thin socks to be comfortable. I'd go a half size up next time to give more room up front. They are a pretty fun shoe though. I really like the all black. I've been wanting an all black shoe for quite some time and these are pretty slick. The various fabrics and textures give the all black some dimension which is cool. They work well with an athletic pant or jeans as well which is great for me. I even wore them to some office things and didn't think twice about it.
