Nike Air Max Dn Roam

I think one of the standout features of the DN is its cushioning. The midsole foam feels softer especially on the forefoot, than any other Air Max model I’ve worn, though the heel has a firmer feel which feels like a smooth transition from heel to toe. It makes sense for the heel to be firmer as it absorbs more impact at heel strike whereas the front is softer, helping the toe off. Its true to size and fairly roomy width-wise. I like the upper snug bootie + the zip shroud as it adds a secure feel. The elastic lacing is a smart addition to help adjust for comfort feels. In terms of design, the black colorway is stealthy and versatile. The zip-up shroud over the laces gives it a sleek, rugged look. The Outsole pattern gives grip and adds texture visually. Love it!! In terms of the fabric, I love the upper which uses textile and synthetic leather with water resistant materials. Its amazing how the zip-up shell can help block out rain or water and protect the upper. Under that, the sock-like internal sleeve gives another boost to the boot which already has so many amazing features. What I like most is the all-weather rugged style and protection, as the roam version has useful features that make the sneaker not just a fashion piece but more functional for inclement weather. I also love the fit cause it has a roomier width and I have wider feet which makes me feel more comfortable wearing this. I would probably make the height of the toe box a bit less shallow. I haven’t felt any discomfort yet but for people like me who dislike pressure around that area, may lead to discomfort over time. Also, having the waterproofing material naturally reduces airflow. So on warmer days this wouldn’t be my ideal choice to wear since it may feel hot and less ventilated.

These are fire, off the rip. The zipper catches your attention immediately, bringing old school style back with the 4 air bubbles at the bottom bringing new comfort style in the mix. With no traditional string, the shoe offers the elastic pull strings. This makes them very snug, a little hard to get into. With the zipper on top of that, the shoe is literally a glove. I already get a half size up and love the space, these don’t have much extra space and I have to wear thin socks for maximum comfortability. These are those type of shoes you have “ break in” . It took less than an hour, once they are on you don’t want to take them off. I wore them to the gym. They were comfortable. I think these are more for style tho. These pair well with casual wear and you still can wear them to the gym. I haven’t tested them on a long walk yet, but I will.

The Air Max Dn Roam are great shoes and I have enjoyed wearing these so far. I feel like I can wear these shoes in different environments and social settings which is a big plus. I can wear these to do multiple things instead of just a couple, which helps boost the lifestyle presentation of the shoe. First, the shoe is pretty comfortable and fits really well for the most part. This is the first thing I notice when putting them on. Sometimes, the fit around the midfoot area can get pretty tight at times if wearing them for longer periods. When I tighten the area underneath the zipper fully, I feel like the shoe gets too tight. For me, it felt more comfortable to not tighten the shoe and just zip the shoe closed overtop the lace without tightening it fully. I would say the comfort is not fully perfect because of this, hence the 4-star rating. The insole is super comfortable and the small padding inside the heel area feels great as well. I've never worn shoes with no laces and a zipper, but I actually like the vibe it presents and it elevates the look of the shoe. The design is very interesting and appealing to the eye. I really like the smaller Nike swoosh logos instead of having a large singular swoosh somewhere. This is super cool to me. The black color of the shoe also goes well with the entire design. The sole is super strong, firm, and springy. I like the feel of the outer sole. The design of the bottom parts of the shoe are very cool as well. This is appealing and really elevates the look of the shoe as well. The sole gives great support. The shoe gives off a clean, athletic look without going over-the-top. I have received many compliments about the zipper look and how sharp it looks. People think this is a great idea and something they would enjoy as well. It looks cool and it is also so easy to get on and off which is awesome. The design is a good balance between cool, effortless, athletic, and confident which improves the lifestyle look. Next, the outer fabric has such a good feel. It is super smooth and feels really soft which is a great aspect of these shoes. The fabric just looks smooth and clean which is what I value in a shoe. The fabric and design allows me to wear them in different situations or conditions which makes them versatile. The thing I like most about these shoes are the design and the versatility of them. I feel confident and cool when I wear these. I like this aspect of them and it improves my overall look and style when dressing. One thing I would change is how tight they can get when wearing them for a long time. I would also change the heaviness of them. Sometimes they can feel really heavy after a long time, but the sole is extremely supportive which helps combat this issue. Overall, I am an advocate and fan of these shoes and would recommend them to others.
