Nike ACG Ultrafly Trail
Ultralight foam and enhanced grip fuel your trail speed.
The Ultrafly Trail takes what you love about the original and refines it, so you can go the distance. The springy ZoomX foam is more responsive and the full-length carbon plate is softer for a smooth ride. The outsole helps reduce weight while maintaining enhanced grip as the miles pile up.
Ultra-responsive ZoomX foam midsole delivers Nike's highest energy return with a stable feel for the trail. The foam is “unwrapped” in the heel for even better responsiveness.
Don’t worry about puddles or streams—the upper is made for water drainage. It’s also lightweight, durable and breathable.
Tackle technical terrain with the full-length carbon fiber plate. We reduced the stiffness compared to the original Ultrafly for better control on the trails.
Go the distance with Vibram® Megagrip outsole. It’s designed to give you durability and enhanced grip on wet terrain.

Top tier trail shoe
GeoffG940713778
Incredible trail shoe from Nike…well balanced shoe with a great lockdown. The zoomx is much softer than its predecessor but still offers the connection a trial runner needs from foot to ground. The sole is quite aggressive but you don’t feel it running on tarmac or light trail which is really important to me. I took just under a minute a mile of my pb for a coastal run wearing this shoe, it blew me away. The colour is a lot brighter than the pic and really is an eye catching wear…11/10.
Solves My Issues with the Original ACG Mountainfly
JamesE219664293
I'm not a trail runner. I will not be running in these. As a casual wearer, I love these shoes because they solve all of my issues with the Original ACG Mountainfly. First, the Ultrafly Trail dispenses with the rubber toe cap of the Mountainfly, which results in way more toe freedom in exchange for reduced protection. Second, the Ultrafly Trail has a slightly wider toe box than the Mountainfly, which allows my toes to spread more comfortably. Third, the squared off edges of the Ultrafly Trail's midsole/outsole offer greater stability and control of the bouncy midsole than the Mountainfly's rounded edges. Finally, the Vibram outsole is a clear upgrade over the Mountainfly's tread. As for the bounce? I am elated that the bounce feels exactly the same as the ACG Mountainfly. The bounce of the foam, and the stiffness of the carbon fiber plate are sublime. I haven't felt a shoe like this since the ACG Mountainfly. I could take or leave the looks, but the feel is unmatched. This is the update to the Mountainfly I've been waiting for.
