In 2019 Coach Bec founded HER Sports with a focus on empowering women through community and running. All levels of runners are welcome.
In 1967, Jeff Johnson opened the first Blue Ribbon Sports at 3107 Pico Blvd, a modest shop dedicated to runners. BRS was a first of its kind and became a sanctuary for runners and the foundation of Nike. Since reopening in 2019 BRS remains a place dedicated to serving the running community. It doesn’t matter if you are a seasoned marathoner or a first-timer all runners are welcome!

Know Before You Go
- Please arrive at least 10-15 minutes prior to event start time to allow yourself time to locate parking
- When possible, please avoid parking on Pico Blvd in front of BRS to allow parking availability for our neighboring businesses of BRS.
- Bring your own running shoes.
- Registration is required to participate.
