Recommend these a million percent if you wear an AFO! My husband wears a fool foot up his calf carbon fiber AFO and has the hardest time finding shoes. Once he does it’s always months of breaking them in and foot pain. These didn’t do that! The first time he ever bought shoes after his stroke and he said there was no break In period, no pain and they don’t fold in the back when trying to put them on! Plus Nike allowed us to get 2 different sizes. The foot with the brace needs an 11.5 due to the brace and his other foot just needs a normal 10.5. No questions asked! Nike said absolutely fine to this! We plan on buying multiple pairs of these because of how amazing and truly ADA friendly they are! Nike did an outstanding job with these and I HIGHLY recommend them if you wear an AFO.
