Nike Juniper Trail 2

Shoe Squeaks on all surfaces. I love the look and bought 3 pairs of Junipers (different styles). After first two weeks of wearing them, all 3 pairs have a squeak that seems to be from some inter rubber rubbing against itself. Happens on all surfaces, carpet, concrete, smooth surfaces. A quality/design flaw for sure. Unless you want a squeaky shoe, don't buy...

I tried the sneakers on and my heel is not secure, it keeps slipping up and down. Not sure if I need to go down 1/2 a size and maybe that will work. Besides that the sneaker felt comfortable.

Basically, this is the quintessential medium range walker that's perfect for rainy days, yard work, and even recreation, sans the real hiking stuff. By and large, these shoes have accommodated my stubborn feet, and their prescribed orthotics, for well over a year. As I write this, my worn sock has finally felt the familiar sensation of moisture... yet I still hesitate to retire them. They are as versatile as they are reliable, and as long as the seams are glued, these mud puppies can ford those mysterious puddles, work on household plumbing, they've even handled hours of push-mowing and weed-eating, just wash off with the hose conveniently! That said, I would only briefly submerge, as the laces space isn't water resistant. They also handle ice like a '94 Cadillac... on stock wheels.
