It is quite small for a medium and a little tight all around. I did not like the look or feel. I would not recommend these shorts if you are looking for comfort. It is not very flattery.

Ride up, so do not prevent chafing
I bought these to wear under my running shorts to ease chafing from my thighs rubbing together. They did not help with the chafing at all.
