Grandson loved these shorts.
Grandson liked that the shorts had pockets. Often similar styles do not have pockets. The color matched several shirt he already had which was my reason for purchasing. The length is perfect for an active boy.

Per pre-teen boys - Nike shorts fit the best.
I bought these shorts for my grandsons (ages 8 & 11) per their special request. They said Nike shorts fit the best (both boys are tallish and thin). Unfortunately they were not on sale at the time.
