• Cardholder Does Job as Intended, However, Pack Light When Using!

  Disclaimer: Product purchased from one of Nike distributors (Hibbett). User that bought this product mainly uses contactless pay and only uses this product to hold ID and bank cards. As for the fashion and functionality of this cardholder, it does the job well. With my preference of being a “contactless customer”, this product will be a nice conversation starter if physical cash and bank cards are the ideal form of payment for brick and mortar shopping and dining locations. Bank & EDC cards are easy to pull out. There are a couple downsides to this “wallet” as well. When every slot is occupied by a card, ideally, the emergency notes would be inserted into the center pocket, crease-side first, with a card to guide the “cash sandwich”. From testing the limitations of the leather, five folded notes would be the ideal maximum to the center pocket. Therefore, it would be wise to diversify your currency as colorful and as valuable as possible to prevent any “financial shortcomings”. If there is no plastic card between those notes, then it would be a bit rough to dig out the cash when the chance arises. Unfortunately, is no RFID protection in this product. So please be wary of your surroundings as this wallet might lure peoples eyes with various intentions. TL:DR (Great product if you carry five cards or less, Try not to stress out the leather with excessive cards/cash if you’re not a “tap to pay” person. Be cautious of surroundings once eyes are locked in to you.)

  This wallet is at best an interesting accessory that Nike is attempting to enter into the market, at worst it is something that probably shouldn’t be made. Full disclosure: the Air Max 90 is my least favorite of the Air Max models, with that said I don’t feel that an Air Max unit looks “cool” on a wallet. There really isn’t a purpose for it. I personally do not like the idea of having a sneaker or part of sneaker used to make a wallet. It would be nice if the wallet came from an actual shoe. Possibly an Air Jordan 1, 3, 8, 11, 13 etc. might move the needle and be something I might be interested in. Overall, an interesting concept but not necessarily something that is necessary as an avid sneaker head.
