I have bought 3 pairs of these for my 9 year old daughter. She loves them! Each pair has lasted about 9-10 months. I feel thats pretty normal considering growth and how hard she is on shoes. I've bought her other shoes, but she always goes back to these. She says they are comfortable as soon as she puts them on, no need to break them in. I'll continue to buy them as long as she wants them and they have her size.
