Stitching areas shriveled after wash

I purchased this shirt because it is made from mostly cotton. The shirt is soft, but the fibers used are not good quality. After washing, the shirt around the stitching of the sleeves, neck and bottom has shriveled up - I tried air drying and regular drying in the dryer and still the same. The stitching is already coming apart after 2 washes. Expected better quality from Nike.

These are cotton poly blend. Nice T shirt but I was misled by dri fit tag and thought they were workout shirts. They are not they get wet heavy and can chaff, but if you want a casual comfy T they are fine. Shame on Nike for misbranding as dri fit.
