foot binding
Converse shoes are run an entire 2 sizes too small. They're so narrow it's analogous to foot binding. Like, have they ever seen a human foot?

Stylish and versatile
Love the slightly higher quality of these. They are comfortable and look good with most outfits. I am a teacher and on my feet all day and wore them when i walked to the ballpark the other day, so I have already put them through their paces. (around 12-15 miles of walk in them across the first week). First day, my feet were a bit sore since I don't typically wear this brand. But since then,…

Going down hill
I've been buying Chuck 70s since they were introduced and I've been through many pairs. These were noticeably lighter as soon as I took them out of the box. I compared the weights of a pair from two years ago and these: 440g vs 380g. They look cheaper, they feel cheaper, they are cheaper. Completely defeats the purpose of the Chuck 70s.

Very comfortable, with a better insole
The 70s version is much more comfortable than the Classic Chuck All Stars. The insole in the 70s has thicker padding. This is my second pair of 70s, purchased in classic black/black/egret. The fit for all All Stars is long and narrow for a given size. I wish I could get a wider version, since I have a high instep and need more room (volume) over the instep for a given size.

One big problem
These are definitely better quality than the standard chucks. But one thing that baffles me is how do you not have something as simple as a lace loop on the tongue which normal chucks have. The tongue falls to the side of the shoe constantly. Very disappointed by something that would be such an easy fix
