After the 7-year journey from ideation to release, the Air VaporMax represents a new era in Nike innovation. To truly capture the feeling of “running on air,“ the designers restructured the Air unit to be attached directly to the upper. As you step down, each lug gets pushed into the Air unit, ramping up the pressure. Then, as you step off, the pressure releases creating springy bounce with superior flexibility. Made for runners, the futuristic technology was quickly adopted by the street, bringing this light-as-air feeling to the masses.

I have always loved Nike, they have always been the best shoe brand. And I have always loved how these shoes look, they are very nice shoes! However, I had gotten a pair, and with normal use, there became a whole in the bubble causing the shoes to essentially lose their ability. I reached out to Nike and they were nothing but nice and sent a new pair. They sent the same shoes, and within a matter of months, the same thing has happened. The bubbles on the bottom have popped causing a lot of problems when walking. Again, Nike has been nothing but nice, and the shoes look amazing, but the quality has not been the best as a personal experience for this pair.
