Are a Nike Member Profile and Swoosh Account Different?

The short answer is yes: Swoosh accounts and Nike Memberships are separate digital accounts. A Swoosh account enables discounted pricing on Nike products on Swoosh.com, Nike.com, and the Nike App, while a Nike Membership gives you access to exclusive Member products and experiences, not employee pricing.

However, there are ways to receive Swoosh pricing while you’re signed into a Membership profile. Read on to learn more about the differences between Swoosh accounts and Membership profiles and how you can enable employee pricing for a Nike Membership.

Accounts Registered Before October 10, 2023

You can have a Swoosh account and a Nike Membership profile with the same email or a separate one for accounts created before October 10, 2023:

  • Same email address: Remember that using the same email doesn’t merge your Nike Membership with your Swoosh account. If you want Swoosh pricing, you’ll need to log in with your Swoosh email and password.
  • Different email addresses: Registering with separate emails ensures that you’ll see Swoosh pricing when you’re logged in using your Swoosh email address.

Please note: Nike employees can manually enable Swoosh discounted pricing on their and their family member’s Nike Membership. See the FAQs below for further details.

Accounts Registered after October 10, 2023

For Swoosh accounts registered after October 10, 2023, you and your registered family members will have one email address and password for your Swoosh account and Nike Membership. This means discounted pricing will be automatically enabled on your Nike Membership—no additional steps are needed.

How can I tell if I’m logged in to my Swoosh account or Nike Membership?

If you’re using different emails, make sure to use your Swoosh log-in credentials. If you used the same email to register both accounts, it’s easy to know you’re logged in to Swoosh:

  • Nike.com: At login, you’ll be given a choice to “Continue With Swoosh” or to log in to your Nike Membership.
  • Nike App: You’ll just need to check your Profile icon. If you see a Swoosh (iOS) or checkmark (Android), that lets you know you’re logged into your Swoosh account. Additionally, you’ll see “Swoosh Shipping” and “Swoosh Payment” in your profile.
I am logged in to the Nike App (or on Nike.com) and don’t see Swoosh pricing – what should I do?

If you registered before October 10, 2023, and think you should be seeing Swoosh pricing and are not, log out and then log back in using your Swoosh email address and password. If your Swoosh and Nike Membership emails are the same, make sure you’re choosing to “Continue With Swoosh” at login.

I no longer see the option to log in to Swoosh in the Nike App settings – how do I log in?

We’ve moved the option to log into Swoosh to the login screen. If you are logged in to the Nike App and do not see Swoosh pricing, log out of the App and log back in using your Swoosh credentials.

Can I enable Swoosh pricing in my existing Nike Membership?

Yes, Nike employees can enable Swoosh pricing for themselves and their family members in their existing accounts with the steps below. Before you do this, be aware that this does not merge or migrate order history between accounts—they’re still separate accounts. Be aware that Swoosh order history will be lost after deleting an account. Don’t do this if having the order history is important to you or a family member.

If you still want to enable Swoosh pricing in your own or a family member’s Nike Membership, here are the steps:

  1. Log in to the appropriate Swoosh account.
  2. Go to Account Settings in the profile.
  3. Tap or click “Delete Account.” Note: The Swoosh account and order history will be deleted.
  4. Nike Employees then will need to go to PassPlay and register their own or the family member’s existing Nike Membership email.
  5. The Nike Member will now see Swoosh pricing when logged in to the Membership Profile.
Where are my favorites?

If you have a specific style you added to your favorites, be aware that they are associated with the account you’re logged in to.

I provided my Nike Membership info while checking out in a Nike store, but I don’t see the purchases in my Order History – how can I access those?

Store purchases associated with your Nike Membership will appear in your order history when you’re signed into your Member Profile. If you are currently logged in to the App or on Nike.com with your Swoosh Account, log out and log back in using your Nike Membership credentials. You’ll then find your associated store purchases in your Order History.
