In 1966, Jeff Johnson opened the first Blue Ribbon Sports at 3107 Pico Blvd, a modest shop dedicated to runners. BRS was a first of its kind and became a sanctuary for runners and the foundation of Nike. Since reopening in 2019 BRS remains a place dedicated to serving the running community. As a proud member of the Santa Monica community, the BRS team asks that we recognize the incredible size of our running community and continue to be mindful and courteous to all of our neighboring businesses and residents.

- When possible, please avoid parking on Pico Blvd in front of BRS to allow parking availability for our neighboring businesses of BRS.
