Experience the benefits of goal-setting, character development, and mentoring by providing Chicagoland High School students with access to a comprehensive mentor based Chicago marathon training program.

With SRC, you can be paired as a volunteer running leader with teams of High School students to inspire them to push themselves further than they ever imagined. You'll be able to give back to your community by inspiring young people to believe in their power to reach big goals.

With Run Too Hard, you get your own personal cheering squad. Runners of all paces are welcome, so make sure to bring the good vibes every Tuesday morning in Humboldt Park for an energetic run to get your day started.

Heartbreak Hill Running Company provides coach-led experiences with warm ups, active stretches, drills and cooldowns wrapped in an inclusive program that welcomes runners of all levels.

The Windrunners are Chicago’s first all-women’s competitive racing team. This group inspires the next generation of female runners with its dedication to personal improvement and team accomplishment.

With early workouts and evening runs squeezed into their busy schedules, these runners are a living example of women lifting each other up through sport.

The club’s weekly two-mile route passes through the Pilsen neighborhood where you can find members of all shapes, sizes and paces walking, jogging or running. You can also find Tortugas members hanging out after the run in Harrison Park laughing, socializing and hosting community givebacks.

Birthed from a neighborhood steeped in Black American history and culture, 7onSunday has become an integral part of the rise of run crews on Chicago’s Southside. Meeting at 35th & King Drive in Bronzeville every Sunday, 7onSunday created a space where Black and Brown people can see themselves as part of athletic and cultural spaces where they have felt excluded, but also feel safe doing so.

Black and Latino owned and founded by Ian Gonzalez, Last Lap Cornerstore is located in the historic Bronzeville neighborhood and looks to cater to the boom of runners on the Southside. Last Lap is a running specialty store that sells nutrition, apparel, recovery gear, and functional athletic wear. Ian’s goal is to make Last Lap a hub for runners, not just for the South Side, but for runners everywhere.
