Pain Free Running

New runner here and started running in a "new" pair of Pegasus 38. I was having knee, ankle and even thigh pain. I ran through it all thinking it was just newbie pain and my body would adjust but the pain never resolved. After about 2.5 months of this I went to a running store and was "sold" a pair of Hoka Cliftons. The pains improved but didn't completely resolve, but I began to understand that I needed the "right" pair of shoes. I read reviews about the Vomera + and decided to try them and can happily say that all pain is resolved. I even went back to the Hokas to retry and some pain returned. For me the Vomera +'s are the better shoe. I do recovery, speed and long distance (for me) runs in them on road and flat grass using the NRC App. I don't think these would be good trail shoes, but I'm only a beginner in the world of running so maybe I'm wrong about that but their height and bounce seem to extreme for what I believe would be good in a trail shoe. The "cushiness" is amazing for running but they are so high and springy that they can be a little tricky to walk in, especially going down stairs, so be careful. I would highly recommend giving them a try if you are considering a new pair of highly cushioned running shoes!
