Nike Ultrafly

Very poor, they just don’t offer any grip on muddy surfaces. Have had to purchase another pair from a competitor.

On my 2nd pair - Love this shoe for all round training runs, on or off road. Very resilient, It's happy for 500kms+ Perfect for most UK trails that I run, but the only downer is it's not that grippy in the wet/mud for more agressive ascents/descents... Still a 5 star shoe for me though. When is the GTX version coming? that would be the ultimate wet weather trainer!!

My size 10 was NOT available at the Nike Factory store, but there are many sizes there! Just a pro tip, the dusty cactus color is at an amazing, “once a year price” at the factory store ! The Ultrafly shoe runs very TRUE to size, in my experience! The Ultrafly shoes are both a thing of beauty to behold and a feat of engineering, to boot ! I was so bummed that the cactus color was not in my size, but the sales associate at the store front desk hooked me up with the crimson in my size ! The vibram soles are totally grippy and the toe box is quite roomy. Only Big Foot might find them a tight fit! I cannot wait for the shoes to arrive at my home! The upper is super lightweight, though there are some shrubs and thorns that might tear them. Nike engineers “wrapped” the ZoomX on the mid-sole sides, and the wrapping looks pretty durable to me, but, I defer that assessment to folks who have run in them for a few months. The ultra plush Zegama shoes may be kinder on your feet in running distances over 15 miles, I would guess. The Kiger 10s may have an edge on super technical courses with difficult descents - I would guess. But, for an “all round” trail running (and hiking) shoe, I think the Ultrafly shoe is as close to peerless as you can probably get! I totally recommend the shoe! I am astonished over the quality of the design and the build and the presentation!
