very light and comfortable. no need to break these in, they are comfortable from day one. only thing i dont like is the individual shoestring eyelits...i am not sure how sturdy they will be but i fear they will wear fast with the on and off tightening and tying. will see. otherwise they are the most comfortable shoes i have and i am a medical professional on my feet all day fast paced.
