Nike Metcon 10

I love the direction the Metcon team took with the 10. Lighter, more flexible, better cushion, better grip, still stable. I'm not sold on the "Lace Tuck" as I never had any issues with the "Lace Lock" that was quicker and easier. It feels like they were trying to get rid of the possibility of your laces snagging anything whatsoever so I don't mind the effort for innovation. I got the white colorway and the "Lace Tuck" pouch came discolored (slightly yellowed). The shoes don't lock in on the foot quite as well as previous models either, but overall, these are a nice improvement to previous lines.

I’ve bought two earlier iterations of Metcons and they were great (6) and even better (8). These ones, however, felt a half size too small for me. I’ve owned many Nike shoes over 20 years and I’ve always been the same size so this was a surprise. On the plus side, I’m glad that Nike finally offers some better Metcon colour ways. Metcons are usually good but be aware about the fit.

I like the overall shoe. It is comfortable, it’s INCREDIBLY stable for heavy lifts, and it is absolutely the only shoe I will lift in now. My only reason for giving these a 4-star is that if you want to do ANY running or sprinting in these - don’t. Wrong shoe.
