These shorts are perfect for the summer time. I have worn only once so far but, they are very casual and comfortable. I love to wear them with a plain shirt and a pair or sneakers. The cut around the waist did run a bit small so I should have gone a size up to get that perfect fit. I would also get rid of the drawstring of the shorts, that made it a bit uncomfortable as well.

That said… the fabric is not for all-day wear. It’s somewhat stiff and not super breathable, so after a few hours, I was ready to switch into something comfier. Also took the inner drawstring out—lowkey didn’t need it, just got in the way. Legs are a little wide too, not a dealbreaker but the extra fabric gets in the way when walking Overall: love the look, just wish they felt better for long wear. If comfort’s your top priority, might want to skip these. Still a solid pick if you're going for the look.

I was hoping I would love the Jordan Essentials Statement Chicago Men's Shorts, however that was not the case. The fit was fine. The shorts are true to size. The feel was another story. The shorts felt stiff and immovable. The ruching in the waist didn't feel great either. I'm a fan of a simple design so the Jumpman emblem in the matching color of the shorts were a nice touch. It says I'm a luxury item but everybody doesn't have to know it. The fabric seems to be a durable material but I fear this is what makes the fabric uncomfortable. If the desire is longevity over comfortability then these shorts are a winner. To wrap things up, the design is top notch. Simple emblem, plenty of pockets. The fit is true to size. The feel left a lot to be desired. The shorts are stiff and uncomfortable. I don't see myself wearing these often. However, they are built to last.
