Fit weird on the sides, will be returned

I liked the look and feel of these shoes when I tried them on. They are stable but really light weight and flexible. The foot bed seemed to fit my foot perfectly but perhaps because they are a men’s shoe and I’m female, it seemed like there was extra material on the sides through the middle of the shoe. I tried ordering a size down but the same issue is there. Both are being returned and I’ve ordered something else. I don’t know if there is a significant difference between the men’s and women’s version of this shoe but the unisex sizing suggested little if any difference. I bought these on sale and wasn’t prepared to pay full price for the women’s version to just have the same issue.

Don’t believe i will buy another pair of these . Loved the metcom 5s however these were made more firm and stiff, if i could return them i would . They should definitely bring back the metcom 5 style of the shoe
