We are so happy with the Nike Flex Runner 4. My daughter put them on the first day we received them and has not taken them off since. With school starting in the coming weeks we didn’t know what shoes we were wanting to go with this time around. The Nike Flex Runner 4 is a slip on shoe that she found very comfortable, very versatile, and very supportive. Ellie does not like tying her shoes at all. Thankfully the strap across the top of her foot stretches just enough for easy access and provides a secure lock down. She has used these shoes on our family walks, playground visits, and for everyday use. Typically with slip on shoes, in the past, we have found that they do not last very long but that is not the case here. The materials used are very durable and do not give easily but do not sacrifice comfort. We have enjoyed this shoe so much that we have ordered two more pairs for the school year. You spoke and we listened. For the Flex Runner 4, we updated the fit of the midfoot strap and the collar to help make these easy for kids to slip on and comfortable enough to wear all day.

Pull tabs on the heel and tongue work with a stretchy inner sleeve to help make these shoes easy for kids to put on themselves. Elastic straps run behind the heel and across the top of the foot to provide a snug, secure feel.
Play Anywhere
Flex grooves in the outsole add flexibility, helping every step feel natural. Multisurface traction works with sturdy foam that wraps around the heel to provide grip and stability when kids shift directions.
Durable Comfort and Support
We reinforced the toe box and used durable materials throughout to help these kicks stand up to how kids play. Soft, springy foam in the midsole helps cushion their every step.

My son absolutely loves these shoes! Because he is only 5, he can’t tie shoes yet; so, the slip on style shoe is the best for him! He is able to put on his shoes without help, which is great for me as a mom. He wears these to play outside, on the playground, at school, and even plays soccer and basketball in them! The all black color way is his favorite and makes him feel “cool.” I would say these shoes run slightly small, and the quality is above average! I wish they were a little more durable, but my son really puts these shoes through the wringer!
