What Is Nike's Return Policy?

We design our shoes and gear to help you perform at peak level, so if they're not working exactly right for you, we've got you covered. Whether you shop on Nike platforms or at a Nike store, you can return items within 30 days of receiving them, as long as they are unused (some exceptions apply). That includes custom Nike By You sneakers.

To be eligible to return, the items must be in the same condition as received. They must also include all materials that were part of the original shipment, including:

Packing bag
Shoe box
Product tag(s)
Accessories

Return Policy Exceptions

10-day return policy
- Some high-demand sneaker purchases must be returned within ten days of the date of receiving them. These items must be unused to be eligible for return. The return package must be with the shipping carrier within ten days from the date of receiving them.
  Items must be in the same condition as received to be eligible for return. When returning products, please enclose all items that were included in the original package, including:
  - Packing bag
  - Shoe box
  - Product tag(s)
  - Accessories
- The 10-day return policy will be noted in the product’s details on Nike.com, the Nike App, and/or the SNKRS App.
Nike x LEGO® brick sets must be sealed and unopened to return.
Apple Watch accessories must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
Nike Leak Protection: Period styles cannot be returned unless defective.
Underwear products cannot be returned unless defective.
Gift cards cannot be returned or refunded.
Gift bags cannot be returned or refunded.
Some Nike products have specific written guarantees and/or warranties—please check the label, hang tag, or warranty card for details and return information.

How do I return a Nike order?

Nike Members and guests can follow our simple instructions to ship a return back to us or return at select Nike stores. And remember, we cover the return shipping if you follow our return instructions.

How do I return a purchase from a Nike store in Japan?

Most items (with some exceptions) can be returned to the same Nike store within 30 days of purchase—simply take eligible items and your receipt to the store where you originally made the purchase.

Please contact the store directly for additional details. And please note, Nike retail stores may change their return or refund policy without notice.

When does the return period start?

For Nike store purchases, you have 30 days from the date of purchase. For Nike.com and Nike App purchases, the return package must be with the shipping carrier within 30 days from the date of receipt. For purchases with a 10-day return policy, the return package must be with the shipping carrier within 10 days from the date of purchase.

Can I return defective or flawed product?

We stand behind our shoes and gear. If your Nike shoes or clothes develop a material or workmanship flaw within two years of the manufacture date, you can still return the item (some exceptions apply). The manufacture date can be found on the item’s tag. Please note, the item will be subject to an inspection process to determine if it's defective or faulty.

For Nike store purchases, please return the item to the original place of purchase.
For Nike platform orders, please contact us.

Please note, returned products that were manufactured more than two years ago may be returned to the consumer without inspection.

If you have a Nike x LEGO brick set with missing or damaged parts, you can request replacement pieces directly from the LEGO website.
