The perfect (very) wet weather running shoe. Field tested during ridiculous driving rain during the Great South Run (UK) the fantastic cushioning kept me moving, the Storm Tread kept me glued to the slick roads and the Gore-Tex uppers did exactly as they promised, kept me warm and dry whilst the rest of my clothes looked like they'd been through a washing machine spin cycle, as did I. I'd only got the shoes the day before the race having seen the weather forecast and any concerns about needing to 'break them in' were quickly dispelled too. And after an absolute onslaught by the weather and 25,000 other runners all vying for position, they look as if they've just come out of the box still. This is a Nike product that perfectly embodies how I have always seen the brand - despite some recent disappointing quality control concerns on a couple of purchases - excellent build quality, excellent comfort, brilliantly innovative and an extremely attractive design that feels like it will last for many miles and many years. A wonderful return to form.

When I first tried them on, the sole’s rocking motion felt a bit unusual. But once I got moving, I realized these shoes are the truth. The comfort, support, and performance are unmatched. I’m already counting down the days to the release of the Vomero Premium on October 16, 2025. Can’t wait to lace those up!
