Fragile Zoom Air Unit

I had the Pegasus Premium's in black for six days and wore them 4-5 times to work when the right Zoom Air unit failed. I work in an office so most of my day is spent walking on carpet, vinyl, and concrete surfaces. However, I usually take a mid-afternoon, outdoor walk, to stretch and get fresh air. The walk has mix of services from concrete, grass, and gravel. Again, normal surfaces that anyone should expect to encounter on a walk or run. While on the short gravel path, I noticed that the right shoe suddenly felt "flat." After getting back on the concrete I could hear air escaping from the right shoe. Once I returned to my office, I inspected the shoe and noticed a small tear in the forefoot area of the Zoom Air Unit. So I am guessing whatever happened, happened on the gravel path. So I would caution anyone from purchasing these shoes as the Zoom Air unit seems to be EXTREMELY fragile. If there is a possibility that you may be on any surface, other than one that is perfectly smooth these shoes have a good chance of failure and you will be out of luck. I know Nike's warranty doesn't cover "wear" but this seems to be an extreme case of fragile material failing for doing exactly what it was meant to do.
