Comfortable right out the box

I bought these for my old-lady lifting workouts and general walking. They were completely comfortable right away and feel both supportive and soft to walk in. I've long suffered with sore feet since breaking both heel bones and having my right heel reconstructed in 1998 (don't ask!) so if a shoe is comfortable for me, its a big deal.

These have a lot of support for the gym | you really feel steady on your feet but they are also a good shoes for dance classes or cardio weight training choreographed type classes because they give you support but are not so heavy that they stick to the floor or are hard to move in. The downside is that they seem to run a little on the wide side. I don't have a wide foot per se but I usually order up a half size just to make sure I have a comfy fit. With these, I felt the fit was on the wide side so most people should probably be ok ordering their normal size or even a half size down because of the width. I will probably order another pair but a half size down.
