ACG Pegasus Trail GORE-TEX
All-terrain grip and comfort. Made to wreak havoc on every surface.
A shoe made for the trails with the responsiveness you know from the road. That’s what the ACG Pegasus Trail is for—running scenic miles in cushioned comfort. We made sure it has the grip you need for traction on wet terrain and GORE-TEX fabric to help keep your feet dry. And the fit? A wider forefoot gives your toes extra wiggle room.
Tried and trusted, the upper is made from lightweight engineered mesh that combines durability and breathability.
This edition of the Peg Trail has more ReactX foam than before. The increased stack height provides energy return with a responsive, stable feel.
Splash your way through wet trails and technical terrain—this generation of Nike’s All Terrain Compound (ATC) gives you more traction than previous versions.
Uphill or downhill, we added extra room in the toe box and forefoot providing comfort for those long miles. A wider design means more stability on technical trails.
Waterproof GORE-TEX fabric keeps you dry so you can focus on the adventure.

I ALWAYS come back to these
David
As someone who hikes often, I always find myself coming back to the Pegasus Trail runners. Personally, I believe these are one of the best shoes you can get because you get comfortable, lightweight, and rugged sneakers (THAT DONT MAKE YOU LOOK LIKE A GRANDPA… sorry grandpa). These have really been put through the test and have proved themselves. These have been my main shoes for hiking in more rugged conditions but I find myself leaving these home on more easy and hot hikes (due to GORE TEX). Since these are waterproof they will keep moisture out of your shoe but trap the moisture from sweat in your shoes. That’s why I always suggest having 2 different types of hiking shoes. Some that vent well, and some that’ll keep your feet dry from the rain or small water crossings. I have found that these don’t last very long due to frequent use (they begin to separate at the midsole to the uppers). With that said I still find myself coming back to these each time because of how good they are.
Like walking on grippy clouds

I mean, come on…These shoes are wildly comfortable! Although they are a bit chunky looking, the Acg Pegasus Trail Gtx shoes have amazing support, the foot bed makes it feel like you are running on a cloud, and they feel snug but lightweight. They fit as expected for my size, and just feel great. The thickness of the shoe does give it a sturdy and well-built feeling like you know that the shoe will last and that they can take a beating off-road. I particularly like the sock like elastic backing that stops small stones or dust from getting kicked up into the back of the shoe. The elasticity of the back sock portion with the double sized pull tab to get on the shoe are really nice and convenient features that I haven’t had in another shoe, and I am into them I a strong way. The treads are also fantastically grippy; I feel like I could run up a boulder sideways like Spider-Man. Not crazy about the black on black design, but I suppose there are people who are into that look and also design-wise, the heal feels a bit too thick looking, but it does perform well. But regardless of what they look like, I will wear these again and again; from trail running to hikes, these shoes feel like they are versatile enough to go from the forest to rocky terrain, and even on a water hike. My foot felt like it was pushed toward the front of the shoe, it felt somewhat back heavy, but not necessarily in a bad way.
