My toddler does not want to take the new V5 runner…comfortable and lightweight, stylish yet not bulky at all. Perfect for running, playing sports, climbing and daily use. Will definitely be looking for another pair, very durable and breathable for the feet. I recommend this shoe to anyone that is active and wants a stylish shoe. the shoe fit true to size perfectly.

I got these for my 3 year old son in size 10C, so they are the toddler version of the shoes. I sized up just a bit to give him room to grow into them, but they seem to be true to size since they fit as I would have expected. My son likes the feel of the shoes and says they are comfortable, which he also demonstrates by wearing them throughout the day during preschool and while playing without complaint. There is cushion around the ankles that seems to provide both comfort and support. The chunky foam sole seems lightweight and provides bounce, and the texture on the bottom of the sole provides great traction for added safety. The material of the shoes has been durable so far, withstanding some very active toddler play. As a millennial parent, I love the design of these shoes, especially the metallic details, it takes me back to my childhood and it’s so fun to see my son wearing something similar to what I used to wear. I love the elastic laces and pull tab on the back of the ankle, since they make getting the shoes on and off so easy. However, I wish the “toddler” version (sizes 2C to 10C) of the shoes was the same design as the “little kid” version (sizes 10.5C to 3Y) of the shoes, because the velcro strap at the top of the laces near the ankle has a tendency to come undone and needs refastened. I think the shoes could have worked well with just elastic laces even for toddlers, the velcro doesn’t really seem necessary. Other than wishing there was no velcro on the laces, we have been enjoying these shoes and look forward to hopefully a lot more play and adventure in them!

The Nike Vomero 5’s for my toddler is a great lifestyle and comfortable shoe with breathable fabric and plenty of stretch to handle all of my 2 year old’s outside adventures. The grey, white and blue colorway is versatile to align to many of my son’s outfit so he is able to wear this to church on Sunday and the park on Monday. The strap with the lace makes this shoe more appealing than a large Velcro piece over the top of the shoe. This is a great feature for kids to make sure they are not compromising on style with a huge Velcro strap. The only issue is the fabric close to the ankle is already showing wear after 1 use. I have concerns over the longevity. Overall, this is a great pair for my little one and he really loves to go outside in these pair.
