ナイキ ペガサス トレイル 5 GORE-TEX

The shoes use the "rocker" design at the bottom, which makes it stiller than its predecessor, my beloved Trail 4. In winter conditions, the bottom seems to perform well, but I can't do a side by side comparison with my Trail 4, which I had left (forgotten) at a trail head hundreds of miles away. The Trail 5 is also not as deep, making it harder to wade through steams. The good news: After the attempt to buy another pair of Trail 4 failed, the trail's management, a PA state forest, has found my shoes! But still, I ask Nike, please don't change a good thing for change's sake, at least don't change it dramatically.

So disappointed. New design is no comparison to the Nike Pegasus 4 which were perfect- why change it? My heels were slipping out of these yet they felt tight over the foot. The previous heel sock protected your feet from grit etc. entering the shoe, the version 5 just gaiped and I could imagine would let anything in 🤣please bring back the old design!

I had an older version of this shoe that I loved and wore them almost every day until I wore holes through the soles. Got the Pegasus 5 as a gift and oh my goodness, they are so tight across the top. It’s not noticeable at first, but after a while my feet go numb because of how tight the shoe is, and loosening the laces does not help. I have flat narrow feet, so I can’t imagine what the fit must be for someone with higher arches.
