My first pair of air force 1 lows and these surprised me. At first skeptical of the design as I feel like I typically like my shoes with a hint of white or a color that “pops” on the shoe but once I put these on feet, it grew on me. It gives off a rain, winter boot kind of look. Not typically my first choice but it looks good on feet. Usually wearing athleisure wear with white socks, I think with white crew socks, the shoes and its graphic design, stood out a whole lot more, in a very good way. It can come off as a very subtle darker shoe look, while also stylish with design its designs.
Fit and feel were probably one of my favorite parts of the shoe as, (like i said before) these were my first air force 1 lows, but they were very comfy. I walked a whole day if errands in them and my feet felt like they were in a cloud the whole time. Not sure if that is because the shoe ran bigger than i thought it would. Usually a size 8, which is what I was given, i probably would have went down half a size for these. But due to that extra space or not, it was a very comfy shoe.
Fabric feels very durable. As mentioned before, they reminded me of a rainy, outdoor winter boot so the material looks very durable and after wearing them, creases were barely visable, which I appreciated.
What I liked most about the shoe was how the white socks complimented the shoe much more than I would have thought. I think that gives me comfort in knowing I can wear these shoes on a daily. While also really enjoying the comfort of the shoe. The comfort of this shoe is what made me like it so much, honestly, but I am not sure if all air force 1 lows are like this or just this one.
If I “had” to change something, it might be just adjusting the fitting? I believe that may be my only complaint about these. Other than that, the shoe has really grown on me, also being that green is my favorite color, the black and grey outsole compliments the whole shoe very well.
