Great shoe, it fits really well and Nike seems to have found it's way again by going back to basis. What stops me from giving 5/5 starts is that although it offers an excellent fell and fits like a glove around your foot, I would have liked better support/fit around the ankle (the opening seems to need a bit more cushioning like the Air Max has to offer). Maybe bring back the laces v-shape from older models, it used to offer a bit of a tighter fit. Overall great shoe, I would highly recommend!

Stick and Cut
The herringbone traction pattern is made of our new rubber compound that’s lighter than Vapors of the past. It allows you to decelerate, plant and back into position without feeling like you’re rounding off your cuts.
Lighter Load
We brought back the firm midfoot plastic piece seen on past Vapors to provide optimal stability and transitions when cutting from side to side. The supportive piece also allowed us to remove the rubber in the midfoot, which helps reduce the overall weight of the shoe.
Transfer the Power
A firm foot frame wraps around the supportive midfoot plate and spans from heel to toe, giving you more of a secure feel. It helps give you the stability to transfer power during aggressive slides, cuts and pivots.
Lightweight Upper
We reduced the weight of the engineered mesh while maintaining durability in high-wear zones by the toe.

Finally getting back to what made the 9.5 great but it is beyond me why they offer the two predominantly white color-ways in hardcourt but not clay. I’ve never been required to wear white on hard courts but frequently am required to on clay. Is it absurd? Of course, but I don’t get to make the rules…

While other brands are moving forward both in performance and comfort Nike is moving backwards. This shoe is heavy, uncomfortable, stiff and sluggish! Not what I expected from Nike's tennis top dawg.
