See the speckles on the outsole? That means it's made with at least 8% Nike Grind material, made from scraps from the footwear manufacturing process.
Cables integrate with the laces for a secure feel, while the inner sleeve wraps your midfoot for a sock-like fit.
The upper blends mesh, synthetic leather and textile materials to give you both durability and breathability.
A rubber outsole with tapered lugs helps you efficiently run up and down hill, while providing the traction you need on rocky roads. A thick material across the toe adds extra durability.

Squeaks after short wear period.

Shoe Squeaks on all surfaces. I love the look and bought 3 pairs of Junipers (different styles). After first two weeks of wearing them, all 3 pairs have a squeak that seems to be from some inter rubber rubbing against itself. Happens on all surfaces, carpet, concrete, smooth surfaces. A quality/design flaw for sure. Unless you want a squeaky shoe, don't buy...
Heel Slips

I tried the sneakers on and my heel is not secure, it keeps slipping up and down. Not sure if I need to go down 1/2 a size and maybe that will work. Besides that the sneaker felt comfortable.
