This summer, Nike Project Moonshot NYC is back and will challenge a new group of athletes to raise the bar on race day. To apply for Project Moonshot NYC 2024, please click the Join Us Button to successfully submit your application. The application window will be open for five days and closes Friday, June 28th at 11:59pm EST. You will be notified of your application status the week of July 1st. 

From 2017 - 2019, Nike NYC launched a marathon training program that engaged athletes to take on 26.2 miles like never before. Participants received expert coaching, access to innovative Nike products, nutrition, recovery services and much more – all aimed to deliver the most well rounded marathon training offering for athletes* to reach their full potential. It’s simple. You train like a machine for 16 weeks. We’ll take care of the rest. The program saw incredible results including 100+ personal bests, 4 finishes in the top 100 and 1 in the top 5.

We will be selecting local NYC athletes that have already been officially accepted to participate in a marathon. (Proof of official acceptance to a marathon is required to be eligible for Project Moonshot) Don't have a bib? Please still apply, we welcome you to be a part of the Nike Run Club community and engage with us in our app to train for your best 26.2, unlock exclusive offers and gain knowledge of tips and tricks to make this your best season ever. Fill out the questionnaire, explaining what you’re aiming to do and why the long shot matters to you. If your application is selected, you will be invited to the full 16-week training experience, which includes: live training sessions, and access to local experts to bring you the best in coaching, recovery, strength training, nutrition, Sports Science, Sport Psychology and gear. This program will consist of a 16-week training program, access to expert Nike Running coaches and expert services.
