Size runs small (US 8 = AU/UK 7) + mismatched tongue loops

I ordered a size 8 expecting the usual Australian sizing. I received shoes labelled US 8 / UK 7. Per Nike’s chart that conversion is technically correct, but it means the shoes are a full size smaller than a standard Australian/UK size 8. They feel tight as a result. On top of the sizing issue, the pair does not match. Both shoes are marked the same size, yet the tongue loops are positioned differently — one sits nearly an inch lower than the other. This is noticeable when walking and makes the shoes feel inconsistent underfoot. Left and right shoes in a pair should be symmetrical. This is a clear manufacturing defect. This is not the quality or consistency expected from Nike.
