Nike Swoosh 1 Essential

These are very cute, low-maintenance shoes for my super active 5-year-old. I especially love the black/anthracite fabric because it should hold up much better against the dirt and stains that ruin lighter mesh colors so quickly. The strap is also super convenient since he can throw them off and on by himself without needing help from mom or dad. My favorite detail is the reinforced toe design. I can’t tell you how many pairs of sneakers we’ve had to retire early because the toe of the outsole starts peeling away from the upper after a month or two. This exaggerated toe cap should hold up much longer. The outsole traction is nice and grippy too, which is great for kids like mine who love to climb on everything they see. The only downside so far was that the first thing he said when he tried them on was “these are hard,” since he’s used to more cushioned sneakers. That said, once he started running around in them, he hasn’t complained about the cushioning. It would still be nice if there were a slightly softer or more cushioned sole for all-day comfort on little feet. Overall, though, they’ve been a great pick for an active kid.

These shoes are absolutely adorable! My daughter absolutely loves them! I was a little hesitant on the look, but my daughter wasn't. They go great with her style. They go with everything! She loves to run and play outside, and these shoes are perfect for that. She says they're "the most comfortable shoes she's ever had". They fit her perfectly. She has wide feet, so we did a half size up and they're great. She has a little room left without them being loose. They're very flexible but also sturdy and breathable. I wasn't able to capture a picture, because shes always on the go. She has worn them almost everyday since we got them and says she wants to wear them for "25 years" lol. This is not an exaggeration, she wanted to sleep in these. The shoes are also easily washable! Shes been playing tough in these, so we've already had to wash them and they looked brand new afterwards. Dont think about buying these, just do it!

This shoe is insanely comfortable. It feels like you are walking on a cloud. It super easy to get on and off for a child which is important. While it isn’t the most stylish shoe I’ve had by Nike, it is a very inclusive shoe, which I think is equally important. This feels like a shoe that would work well for kids that have wider feet or sensory issues.
