On a 10 year old - very lightweight and soft and a nice slimline fit. Hot neck is tight but good has a good amount of room to it. Hasn't got that scratchy plasticky texture or sound to a wind proof jacket I wouldn't say waterproof in any way. Over all my son is very happy with the set.
