How This Was Made

The recycled polyester used in Nike products begins as recycled plastic bottles, which are cleaned, shredded into flakes and converted into pellets. From there, the pellets are spun into new, high-quality yarn used in our products, delivering peak performance with a lower impact on the environment.
In addition to reducing waste, recycled polyester produces up to 30% lower carbon emissions than virgin polyester. Nike diverts an average of 1 billion plastic bottles annually from landfill and waterways.

Useless, serves no purpose

NOT water repellent. Not warm. Not windproof. What is the point? I was walking my dog in heavyish rain, all my inner clothes were soaked after 5 mins. Was running outside at 5 Celsius, cloudy/evening sun, with a longsleeve and a midlayer running sweater underneath, and this jacket did not block wind at all. I was cold. Might keep you dry for a minute if it's really really light tinkle, on a warm summer day. Plus, no drawstrings at the waist..... great way for the wind and cold to creep in. Plus the useless hood: when running, if you don't tighten it fully, it will not stay on your head. If you do tighten it fully, it will stay on, but you'll look like an egghead. Another bonus is, when tightened fully with the hood on, it will annoyingly rub against your airpods to create this "lovely" background shuffling sound.

The color is beautiful. You should go with your true size. It’s a bit long, but that didn’t bother me.
