Nike Air Monarch IV

Runs small and feels too stiff.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am on my 3rd pair of these shoes. I don't work in them, I wear them out when my wife and I go places. I have found they wear great, after about 8-9 mths. I do however find they start a creaking sound. Could be me the way I walk and wear the shoes or could be the shoes themselves giving in. Either way, my next shoes will be another pair exactly like these solid black Air Monarch IV or the dark gray w/picante red trim which look great. Either way I recommend them. Good shoes.

So I've purchased these shoes in the past and am looking to buy again. The shoes have adequate cushioning, they are actually made to fit on a full grown man with high arches and heavy enough that when he stands up his fit get wider and longer. Just could not ask for a nicer shoe as far as fit, comfort and over all look. I got a black white mix with red in the mix. The shoes pull on easily because they actually fit. Usually very hard to find anything Nike thats above size 12 and not built flat sole bottom for a skate boarder. The shoe's were light weight. Durable enough for hikes and comfortable enough for everyday life. I read others comments about squeaking. I never had that issue and believe me when I have in the past I notice it. Usually thats a tread rubber issue. To hard rubber..Something in the tread design acting like a whistle. Throw them in the sun and let sit an hour. Armour all the bottom. Easy fix. My rating is 5 star. No complaints from me but my kids keep telling me they're dad shoes.. Not sure why. Id rather wear a normal color regular design shoe still made outta leather composite then one of these modern day disco looking platform sole from the future type things. I just looked at shoes for women that resemble a tesla cyber truck and might even be stainless steel. Nikes even. Wish there was just one more variety Nike style other then then these and the Mantoba hiking shoes. Add some colors to those hiking boots. Id be happy with these two models for life.
