Product reviews

Who can submit product reviews?
Nike reviews are made up of both organic and incentivised reviews:

  • Organic reviews are product reviews from customers who have not been incentivised by Nike to leave a review. You may see a "Verified Purchaser" badge next to these reviews. This means that a review has been submitted by a customer who purchased the product directly from Nike, received an email from us after they purchased a product inviting the customer to leave a review and who did not receive a reward in exchange for such review (see below). Customers who have purchased our products through other retailers are not eligible to be badged as "Verified Purchasers".
  • Incentivised reviews are reviews collected from consumers who: i) have been rewarded with a discount on their next purchase in exchange for a review; ii) have received discounted or free products from Nike or other retailers in exchange for a review; or iii) have participated in product testing with Nike. These reviews are marked with the disclaimer text "Product received for free or reviewed as part of a prize draw/giveaway or in exchange for a discount". Some incentivised reviews are sourced from Nike-affiliated employees, partners, influencers or trainers. These reviews are marked "Nike Expert Reviewers".

We carefully instruct our customers that Nike values and will show all feedback, good or bad, as long as it is respectful and not in violation of the Customer Ratings and Review Terms of Service. Customers select 1–5 stars as an overall rating of the product. Customers are moreover asked how the product fits, how comfortable the product is and if they would recommend the product. In addition, customers are given the opportunity to include a short description of their personal experience with the product as well as a title. Customers can also share photos, as well as the size they normally wear.

Please note that the average review star rating takes into account both organic and incentivised reviews and provides equal weighting to both types. The total review score of a product is the average of all reviews submitted by customers on the particular product. All of the individual review scores are added up and divided by the total number of reviews.

In general, we display reviews chronologically, meaning that you will see the latest reviews first. However, on some non-English sites, we will first display local reviews before showing other reviews collected globally. You are provided with the option to choose another sorting order, for example to sort reviews by rating, recency and helpfulness. All reviews are retained and displayed as long as a product or style is available.

How can I submit a review?
First, sign in to your Nike Member profile. Then, in the "Reviews" section of our product pages, you can tap or click "Write a Review".

At Nike, genuine and unbiased feedback from our consumers is of the highest importance. Therefore, we are doing everything we possibly can to avoid false reviews. For example, reviews can only be submitted via a Member-gated journey, which helps us to prevent bots.

All reviews are subject to our Customer Ratings and Review Terms of Service and the content guidelines contained therein. All product reviews are reviewed before being shown on the website. Reviews may not be in violation of the Terms of Service. Nike will not feature reviews that include inappropriate or controversial language or images, competitor references, personally identifiable information, price references or reviews from persons younger than 13 years old.

If the review you have submitted has not been published, this may be because we have found the review to be in violation of the Terms of Service. If you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch with us.
