The style is excellent. The cushion around the ankle and top of the foot is plenty. The shoe has a lot of cushion for the foot. I actually had to return them because they are oddly very narrow right at the pinky to area. I am not sure if synthetic leather stretches like real leather so I didn't want to take the chance. Also the shoe was a little bit squeaky on my floor tile. The shoe style looks good though. I was almost hip for a minute. I was previously wearing a Pegasus 40 that had a properly shaped and comfortable toe box. I ended up getting the Pegasus 41 and Air Max 2017. Both those shoes had a perfect toe box.
