Men's Gym Shorts

Maximise every session with men's gym shorts that are made for top performance. Our innovative fabrics move with you, so there's nothing to hold you back. Meanwhile, lightweight and breathable materials keep you cool—no matter how intense your workout gets. And with a range of styles and fits, there's something to suit every athlete.

Stay dry, stay focused

When you're giving your best, you need gear that works as hard as you do. That's why we craft men's exercise shorts with our innovative Dri-FIT technology. It wicks moisture away from your skin and evenly disperses it across the surface of the fabric, so it can evaporate faster. The result? You stay fresh and dry, even when you're training hard. Meanwhile, super-stretchy fabric allows you to bend, lunge and squat without thinking twice. Look out for elasticated, fold-over waistbands that stay in place all day. Or pick a pair of men's training shorts with easily adjustable drawcords.

Designed with detail

Our men's gym shorts are designed to help you smash your personal best, so we haven't skimped on the details. Look out for shorts with convenient zip pockets—ideal for stashing your valuables while you exercise. Flatlock seams sit comfortably against your skin to minimise irritation. Meanwhile, air holes and mesh lining allow air to circulate around your body—helping you stay comfortable when you step up the intensity. Want extra support? Opt for styles crafted with stretchy knit fabric that hugs your muscles. Or go for 2-in-1 men's exercise shorts with a compressive layer.

Made for all seasons

When you're working hard, lightweight gear is key. Our men's training shorts are made with breathable fabrics that won't weigh you down. Plus, they're designed to dry quickly—so when you break a sweat, you can keep pushing. Meanwhile, four-way stretch fabric helps you move naturally. Training outdoors? Choose shorts with UVA and UVB protection. These offer sun protection for the areas covered by the garment. And if you're heading out in cooler weather, reach for our super-soft styles crafted with French terry fabric that feels smooth against the skin.

Find your style

We believe every athlete deserves to look and feel their best. So you'll find our men's training shorts in a mix of colours and styles. Keep it low-key in all-black or classic neutral tones that pair easily with all of your workout gear. Or make a statement with bold graphics and pops of colour. No matter which pair you choose, expect to see the iconic Nike Swoosh stamped on the leg—a badge of premium quality.

Frequently Asked Questions about men's gym shorts

What length should gym shorts be?

Gym shorts should give you coverage without restricting movement. For most training sessions, a length that sits above the knee works well, helping you squat, lunge and stretch freely. Shorter fits offer the maximum range of motion for high-intensity workouts, while longer styles suit taller frames. Look for breathable fabrics, added stretch and an adjustable waistband for a secure feel.

How should gym shorts fit for training?

Training shorts should feel secure at the waist and relaxed through the leg, so you can move naturally through every rep. A good fit shouldn't pull, bunch or slide as you work out. Lightweight woven fabrics, sweat-wicking Nike Dri-FIT technology and built-in stretch can help keep you comfortable during gym sessions, circuits and everyday movement.
