  • Not great for trail running, but a great summer golf shoe

    Chris.FM - 17 Nov 2025

I got on board with this shoe at the back end of version 3 and the start of version 3, and like music and girlfriends it’s hard to beat the first you experience 😳 this shoe has got progressively worse since but a a Nike stalwart I continued with versions 4/5 but not as a trail running shoe but as a summer golf shoe, for which they are excellent. Way better than the current crop of trendy Nike hybrid golf shoes, these have everything a golfer wants for summer play, comfort, style and waterproof. Hopefully they will do a goretex version of the Zegama for trail running in version 3 of that shoe, in the meantime I’m stockpiling these for golf and waiting in hope

  • Very weak

    AhmadKh - 16 Aug 2025

It didn't last even 2 months. The top layer is very weak for a trail running shoe. Also, the width is a bit tight and annoying.

  • Not up the usual Nike design standard

I have owned the version 4 of these shoes for one year. They have gotten moderate usage. Part of the grip on the sole has peeled off. A small hole has been worn away on the tongue. Parts of the shoe might be waterproof, but after running in wet grass my socks are wet, so water still gets in somewhere. I wonder if the toe of the shoe is coming away too, but for now it is holding. I like the straps for pulling the shoes on. They work well. The shoes are quite comfortable.
