What are kids' AstroTurf boots?
Kids' AstroTurf boots are specially designed for play on artificial 3G pitches. Instead of traditional studs, they have lightly textured outsoles. They provide grip and control, but will not stick or catch on the surface. This provides young players the stability they need without risking injury or causing damage to the pitch. Our range includes a choice of upper shapes to suit their needs.
Can kids wear normal football boots on AstroTurf?
We don't recommend playing on AstroTurf in normal (i.e. studded) football boots. Traditional football boots are designed to bite into the surface of the grass for extra traction. On an AstroTurf pitch, this grip can make their boots stick. This poses an injury risk and can also damage the playing surface.
